Prayer Meeting Minutes (25Nov)

THANKSGIVING!

Thank God for..
1) Flea market and cookies sold on Sunday!
2) Good weather and good respond from the car wash.
3) Another person who's gave a love offering of $1000


Updates:

1) Second Round of Car Wash Next Sunday (6th December)
2) Vibe cookies to be sold for fundraising
3) All to take Malaria pills.

Prayer requests:

1) Pray for those who are coming back..

2) Pray for printing of the T-shirts, printing takes about 3 weeks..

3) Pray for finalizing and printing of camp booklet

4) Pray for more laborers in the medical team

4) Pray that we will all make the effort to learn some Cambodia words and songs.

Prayer meeting minutes

Thank God for a good Cambodia prayer meeting last wednesday! Please note that the itinerary has been slightly altered! (: check it out on the panel located at the right.

A question that was raised up recently in lieu to the fundraising- "Why do we not have donation coupons instead?"

Well, the answer is really simple! Through fund raising, we can show forth our effort and sincerity in helping out the children in Cambodia!

To get a clearer picture of where the funds would go to, it would primarily be channeled to these areas:

1. the 3 lightning rods (that would cost approximately  $3000 each)
2. the repair of the toilets. (approximately 1400USD)
3. and the financial needs of the youths.

Thank God for the first blessed fundraising event! We have raised $500 and recieved a love offering of $1000 since last sunday!

Postpone of Fundraising flea market

Hey guys! I'm sure most of you would have received an notification by Amelia regarding the change of date in fundraising. If not, here it is (:

"The flea market is postponed to 22th November instead! But meanwhile, keep donating your clothes,accessories,stationarys! We definitely need more! Pls take some time to go through your unwanted items. Thanks.:)"

Please do extend your warmest helping hand in the flea market be it in terms of donation or in the sale of the items! 

To be able to serve the Lord IS AN PRIVILEGE!

Time to be on our knees!

Prayer Requests:

1. Please pray that God will raise up leaders in the respective areas- Camp comm, Drama and Medical. (People not serving would be participating in the camp itself)
   
2. Pray for servant-hearted people!(:
3. Pray that the Lord would prepare out hearts!
4. Pray for our brothers and sisters who are facing challenges from going to Cambodia!
5. Pray for Ian to be filled with the the wisdom of the Lord in the planning.
6. Pray for each other! This is a spiritual battle. Pray lest we become the devil's clowns!

(I) Car Wash

√Thank God for Lynn Shan and Henrietta taking the step of faith to oversee this area of fundraising!

√The Car-wash Hunks : Darren, Giolo, Haniel, JiaHao, Luzerne, Paul, RenJing, Yufei.

√Location (Tentative): 360 Dunearn Road

√Time (Tentative): 2pm - 7pm

√Date: 22nd November 2009

*Please pray that Pastor Sinon would give us the green light for using 360 Dunearn. Also pray for wisdom whether we should continue car wash on 28th and 29th of November 2009.
